We sell General Victorian, Edwardian and good modern furniture and effects. 19th Century to modern china and art potteries, gift ware, tested electrical items, power and hand tools, outside effects, cars to boats and garden items. STAMP, COINS, MILITARIA & COLLECTORS ITEMS
To include Gold, Silver and hammered English and Foreign coins, Bank notes, Cigarette and Postcards, Medals and Militaria, stamps and Ephemera, toys and dolls. (followed on by sale of Antique, Modern Furniture and Effects)
ENTERING ITEMS FOR SALE
Suitable items can be accepted at any time by appointment and stored free of charge. ANTIQUE ITEMS must be delivered 12 days before sale to allow for advertising and cataloguing. GENERAL ITEMS need to be in the sale rooms a clear 6 days prior to sale. STAMP, COINS AND COLLECTORS ITEMS also need to be with the Auctioneer 10 days before sale. Please note: Items cannot be accepted for sale on View or Sale days
SERVICES OFFERED INCLUDE:
FREE verbal valuations given for items you wish to sell. Either bring them to the Auction Rooms or we can arrange to call and view the items in your own home. Advice given as to which sale the items would be most suited, with FREE storage of items for Antique Sales. Our Antique Sales are NATIONALLY ADVERTISED and on National Antiques websites with catalogues sent to prospective purchasers throughout the Country.
RARE BREED AND POULTRY SALES
Held at the Royal Cornwall Show Ground, Wadebridge these popular annual auctions offer a wide range of rare and traditional breeds of poultry, comprising large fowl, bantams, ducks, geese, ornamental waterfowl, pheasants, guinea fowl, pigeon, quail. poultry sundries, poultry equipment, houses, runs etc, together with in the spring of the year hatching eggs. Entry forms are available approx. 6 weeks prior to sale, all entries to the Auctioneers 14 days prior to sale, catalogues are prepared one week before sale, please note changes to catalogues often occur day of sale.
MACHINERY AND COLLECTIVE SALES
Following years of expertise our team are very experienced at arranging collective sales ‘on site'. This covers all types of commercial and retail premises including shops, garages, hotel and catering equipment, live and dead stock. We also hold regular tool and machinery auctions, three are held at the Royal Cornwall Showground and one other is held at: M. A. Griggs Agricultural Stores, Sticker, St Austell.
